The challenge

Halcyon Studios ran three physical locations serving twelve distinct suburbs from a single generic services page. Their business listings carried three different phone numbers and two outdated addresses across the major directories. The owner had no marketing team and roughly two hours a week to spend on any of it.

What we did

  1. 01

    Twelve genuinely different pages

Each service area received a page with real local detail — parking, transport, neighbourhood specifics, staff who work that location — rather than a template with the suburb name swapped. Quality gates rejected any page falling below a differentiation threshold.

  2. 02

    Listing hygiene across every platform

Name, address and phone were corrected and verified across forty-one directories and aggregators. Two duplicate listings competing with the primary profile were merged.

  3. 03

A review programme that runs itself

Post-appointment review requests were automated and every review received a drafted response within a day. Review text is heavily quoted in local AI answers, which made the volume worth pursuing on its own terms.

  4. 04

    Local entity clarity

LocalBusiness schema with a full service catalogue and areaServed markup was applied per location, giving both Google and the models an unambiguous description of what was offered where.

The outcome

Nine of the twelve service areas reached a top-three map pack position within five months. Inbound booking requests rose 412% year on year, and the group opened a fourth location in month nine on the strength of demand from a suburb that had previously had no page at all.

I run three salons, not a marketing department. Aeologic gave me twelve real location pages, fixed listings I didn't know were wrong, and now people tell me they found us by asking ChatGPT.
